Caffeine is a natural stimulant that stimulates the central nervous system to help in alertness and preventing early tiredness. It is mostly found in coffee, black tea, green tea and cocoa plants. The Food and Drug Administration (FDI) recommends a maximum intake of 400mg of caffeine per day or two to three cups of coffee.
